Texas breaks from NRA
Texas breaks from NRA
Texas is expanding background checks for guns. No more person to person without a background check.

Since TX just implemented laws easing guns I am going to have to see a link on this supposed tightening for sales.

Not a done deal yet. Lt. Governor (not the actual governor) is "open" to the idea, and not on all private sales. Stop jumping the gun.

Looks like Texas also made the first bump stock arrest as well.

You know, for a state that runs its mouth all the time about 'being free and independent', they sure sold out for this one.

Re: Texas breaks from NRA
Since when. None of that was in the do nothing exec orders issued. There is no way to do universal background checks w/0 registration.

"Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick says he will defy NRA, take lead on gun background checks."

Re: Texas breaks from NRA
Ya, that guys a phuking nutcase. They dont catch the smart ones.
Ran his mouth to a message machine at a former pres foundation, was a mentally defective who failed background checks and continued to try and succeed to get guns elsewhere and hung himself.
Not exactly a good test case for the bump stock ban. Apparently he had more than one.
