Beatings and guns

#1

Post by 17-21-23 »

You know back in my day. Going to school most had shot guns and rifles in the back window of their trucks. Most of the time the doors were unlocked. We never had problems. O also I remember we never had anyone with a divorced mother or father either. If someone's mother or father were divorced we all knew it. By the way back in the day if we did something out of line we would get our asses beat by our father. Mom would just say wait till your father gets home. So here we are, no more beatings, everyone is divorced or dam close. The nuclear family is over with. Religion is hard to find anymore. It's almost like they planned it this way.

Basic morality and a strong, structured, family unit are the foundation of western civilization.

Who would have thought that Dr. Spock had a hand in all of this?

Wow, 17...you went to school in Benson too?

This was our school in a nutshell. The parking lot was full of our pickup trucks, or our Dad's, and each had a gun rack with rifles. No shootings, no nonsense.

Respect for other people and authority is critical, but lost today. It’s sad to see our societal demise.
