Re: cowtown range
It's a great facility for matches, with the worst management I've seen.
I'd stay away.

Re: cowtown range
I shoot Wednesday night steel every other week. I wouldn’t pay for a member ship there personally
Re: cowtown range
Depends on what you are looking for. If it's the only place I could shoot long range without jumping through a lot of hoops then yah i would shell out the money.

Re: cowtown range
How far do you want to shoot? You can shoot steel or paper 300 yds at BA a couple times a month for $12..

Re: cowtown range
I'm a member and I think it's worth the fee. I spend a couple hours a week in the East Bays for pistols and hit the West Canyon once a month or so for steel out to about 1100yds. The management is using a new online app for reservations. They really used to struggle with scheduling 8-9 months ago, but it's better now.

Where do I find the info on the 300-yard days at Ben Avery? For the Wednesday night steel events at Cowtown do you need a membership?

That range is directly west of the DPS range. Unfortunately the shooting positions aren't covered yet, so get out there early.
Re: cowtown range
Great, thanks for the link! Any restrictions on what calibers you can shoot?

Glen did a good job with what he could. The owners and current Range Master just leave me shaking my head.
They essentially drove off AZ 2 gun, and the final straw for me is when my wife was there at a CCW course and they all got kicked off the range due to some issue the RM had.

Who was the RM?
