What happened to Gun Depot?

Do you remember the shop that used to be on University & Power? Anybody know the story on it? I heard the owner shot himself?

Yeah, he shot himself. There was a thread on the old AZS about it.

Does anyone know why? Was it that typical alcohol + unrequited love type of combination or was it related to the business?

He committed suicide, it was not a clear cut reason, lots of different conflicting things going on at the time.

I was sad to see it go. That was one of the better gun shops in the area and brownie made it a fun place to hang out talking guns.
