Need a sticky about local FFLs who do transfers.

If it doesn't fit the topic in any of the other forums, and is firearm-related, put it here!

The old AZS had this. The guy I used has gone radio silent and I need to find a new FFL to receive an out-of-state shipment. Anyone? How much?

I'm just north of Desert Ridge, but we should still have a sticky for the whole area or even state.

Agreed 100% about a sticky for local FFL's. Been in the market for a low-priced AR lower, it'd be nice to know where to shop around.

Here is a map for you. This is from the ATF web site and only current through 09/2019. You can call FFL near you to ask about transfers and cost.

I dont mean to be picky. But even Merchant Firearms is not listed on the map. So there should be more FFLs.

That map is not very good.

I used to use this site. http://fflgundealers.net/transfer/arizona/ Enter your ZIP to get someone near you.

OK, here is a link to the data. Apparently it didn't load into Google maps well. If someone else knows a better method have at it. 09/2019 is the latest ATF posted

biggy is the list evolves so much with so many shutting down, and or not doing xfers, used to be a gaggle of them in the bell road and cave creek area that were reasonable to do this, but in the last few years its gone to the dumpster with reliable joints. i've found a couple in central phx, and in the area above mentioned and use them when possible, have one i've used for long time, for the multiple orders, and a lot of them do not want to do multiple unit xfers, so one has to stage purchases to avoid the difficulty of finding a ffl that will. just saying.

The above links are great resources, but my line of thinking was leaning more toward a list of shops/FFL's that are vouched for by the local community (in this case, the members of this forum). A generic online list of dealers is a good start, but I'm confident we can muster up a more comprehensive and helpful resource than that...

Here, I'll start:

Scottsdale
-Bear Arms. Scottsdale Rd south of Shea Blvd. Wide selection of new and used firearms, usually has plenty of bulk ammo in stock. $35 transfers, +$15 to expedite (as of JAN-2020).

Gilbert
-Quentin Defense. McQueen Rd north of Guadalupe Rd. Manufacturer as well as FFL. Loads of AR parts, billet goodness galore. $20 transfers (as of JAN-2020).

Casa Grande
-On Sight Shooting. Florence Blvd west of Mission Pkwy. Largest shop in Casa Grande, good selection of new firearms, accessories, and suppressors. $25 transfers with CCW, $30 without. $50/$60 transfers if from GrabAGun, Bud's Guns, CheaperThanDirt, or Palmetto State Armory, with/without CCW, respectively (as of JAN-2020).

Hey everyone, longtime lurker just registered! 4 North West Phoenix and Glendale, I've used them many many times and had great results with
Arrow Security on north 67th Avenue at Greenway. $15 with a CCW, $20 without.
