If it doesn't fit the topic in any of the other forums, and is firearm-related, put it here!

I have read enough from all your posts to come to the realization that this person should be pitied, rather than criticized,... he obviously is a very lonely and psychologically disturbed individual.

But, I do wish he would go away, and get some help.

One thing is for sure.
This site has been pretty lively since Ranger1 has been posting and from his post on this thread he should now be called the Danger Ranger.

Hmmm,... we seem to have a different definition of what "lively" is.

I read him as being nothing but a pathetic individual, calling out for attention and help.

I didn't say he was lively.

" Lively " as in all the posts that are referring to him or responding to him.
There are more post because of him lately than of any other topic.

Ok,... but I would still call that, a pathetic individual, calling out for attention and help.

"Lively" isn't the word I would use.

The person seems to have some serious issues and possibly needs his meds adjusted.

Yet all that has accomplished is lowering of the collective intelligence level of this board.

I am not disagreeing with anyone , just making a comment.
And again I never said he or his posts where lively.
I only said the site was lively.
And may I add quite entertaining in a morbid way.
I want to thank all of you that contributed.

That's exactly right. Every time some Rump Ranger comes on to a board like this, half the people spend their time fighting with him instead of commenting on the things that matter. Some people just like to fight. I just ignore, and if every one else just ignored the guy, he would go away all on his own.

From what I have seen on other boards they don't just quietly go away. They tend to post ever more outrageous stuff as they try to get the attention they didn't get from mommy and start to disrupt every thread they can. Until a moderator lowers the hammer and perma-bans them.

One problem with allowing the misinformation and other BS they post to go uncontested is that other, less informed members (or people who find it through a web search) might take what the idiot posted as factual (after all none of the other members corrected it) and try to follow it. Possibly getting hurt or damaging something in the process.

It is never good to let a mentally disturbed person become the face of your forum through their prolific posting. Which is why the Mods on most boards are very proactive in rooting these kinds of people out and preventing them from rejoining under a different name.
