I won a knife once from the dozens of big gun giveaways that the NRA puts out every year....It was made in china. SIGH...

I won a Marlin 60 from this site!!! First time, ever!!!

I have always had an interest in the 50BMG caliber,... but, ever since I started reloading, and realized it takes a pound of powder to load 30 rounds (approx),... I just can't see making such an investment, just to punch holes or blow things up!!!

I like to think, I am somewhat aware of what the NRA has done, and what it has not done, of late.

But, you sir, I have no clue what you have done for the cause. With your definitive claim against the NRA, I will assume you have accomplished more than the NRA, in its 147 year existence.

Would you please expand on your accomplishments, this inquiring mind would like to know?

I have been a member of the NRA for 46 years running now and despite their faults they are the biggest & baddest pro-gun organization on the planet, PERIOD! It is perfectly OK to support other groups as the more the better I say, but one shouldn't forget about the NRA and all the pro-gun programs it supports including the shooting sports & training.....

I do not remember the NRA lobbying for gun laws to be removed form the books very often. Mostly being on the defense with the congress & courts. They receive lots of good folks money, pay themselves a good wage & talk. They seem to operate like they have no end goal to reach, because the brass there would be out a pay check if true gun liberty was restored(JMHO).

Now the AZCDL gets laws changed & pays only the lobbyist that works the bills. Yes they do fight bad gun bills!

The NRA has a long way to go to get me to join. They seem to be for the guy with a bolt gun, not the black gun. They need to be for all guns. Again JMHO

Agreed. concerning the AZCDL ,... a most efficient and productive organization!!!

BUT,... it has been said repeatedly, for decades, and documented thousands of times, that the NRA is the most feared pro 2nd amendment organization, by ONE WORLD GOVERNMENT BASED LEFT WING DEMOCRAT SOCIALISTS, on the hill,... bar none!!!

You don't get a reputation like that, from sitting on your hands and receiving lots of good folks money to pay themselves a good wage & just talk,... but, accomplish nothing!!!

Understand 444, "BUT" they are national and the hate groups need a 3 letter thing to hate. Just sayin'

And on the 50 cal Barrett...... Would find a nice dry spot in the safe for it! Take it out and run some rounds down the barrel every couple months.
