Democrats say they will pass the most aggressive gun-control legislation in decades when they become the House majority in January, plans they renewed this week in the aftermath of a mass killing in a California bar.

Their efforts will be spurred by an incoming class of pro-gun-control lawmakers who scored big in Tuesday’s midterm elections, although any measure would likely meet stiff resistance in the GOP-controlled Senate.

Yes, I expect they will but if the GOP can hold the Senate, don't any bills have to be also approved by the Senate and the Pres... still opportunity for them to fail to pass.

Still it sounds like a good excuse to buy some more blasters!

It will be good for the industry and for NRA membership.

Dems in the House will make a lot of noise but accomplish nothing. The Senate and Prez will kill anything they come up with. Plus with the new more Pro-2A SCOTUS we can expect to have some existing laws b**** slapped as cases wind their way through the courts.

Getting close to the time when we the people arrest, have a trial, convict and execute these traitor pieces of s***. I don't want this to happen but it will probably take this to save this country. The US military should have long ago arrested and executed these f*** that are hell bent on destroying this nation. We can go to another country to fight for their democracy (actually it is to bring them under control of the central banking system) while our freedoms are taken little by little.

I'm guessing that current AR prices are going to be largely permanent. Companies have shown that they can exclusively sell AR's and AR parts at these prices and still make enough profit to stay in business. So current prices are sustainable, the market is so absolutely saturated with AR's + parts and people are accustomed to the low prices so that if they rise, sales will likely drop significantly.

Most of the top-tier AR prices never dropped (KAC, LaRue, HK, etc), while the lower-tier AR's like Anderson, Aero, etc, have all dropped to bargain basement and won't be likely to rise since they have been there so long. AR's and parts are so commoditized at this point...

Of course, that assumes the status-quo with regard to government regulation and laws around firearms.

I suspect the bigger problem will be in state governments. We took a big hit in the Arizona legislature in this last election. Bloomberg is about to spend millions here on a PR campaign to push for "universal background checks" (i.e., registration of all guns). With the current legislative makeup, it will be a close thing.

Market is always controlled by supply and demand. Prices move up when demand gets higher. Not just for ARs or other guns but for everything that can be sold.

With fear of losing guns, there will be an increase in buying them just like when Obama was the greatest gun salesman the USA has ever seen. Just because we are now enjoying low prices on guns and gun parts doesn't mean that they will stay low. What in this world stays at low prices just because they were low at one time. Bread was a Nickle once ya know.

Prices my tick up just a little bit but the next two years will be nothing but yelling, posturing, blaming the other side, all the while absolutely nothing will be passed. The government will be in gridlock for 2 years.

Nothing will get done but they will all still get their pay check and benefits.

Go on any gun forum. ARs are sitting there. There are literally thousands for sale. Anyone trying to get new prices or anywhere near will need to plan that it will be sitting for quite a while. There are decent ARs for sale for 500 bucks now everywhere.
