That's what I was wondering. The evidence at the scene, not to mention witness statements, should have shown clearly that this was a self defense shooting.
Because prosecutors openly brag they can indict a ham sandwich. If there is the slightest chance of another notch on their conviction record they will go for it at our expense so they can brag I put away XXXX number of murderers when running for a higher office with more power, and I hate them. Put me on a jury and if I don't like anyone from the prosecution, his tie or their witnesses it is not guilty and I am sticking with it, anyone wearing a tie is not trustworthy as far as I am concerned. Except if it is a prosecution of a elected or public official then it is guilty and hang them for the lives of my friends who they have destroyed mostly over firearms licenses.
To see if they could indict the ham sandwich after they twisted the truth just so they can add another conviction to their resume for future offices they may seek.Steve_In_29 wrote: ↑November 8th, 2018, 11:27 pm The District Attorney (who presumably filed the charges) was quoted as saying, "the Grand Jury made the right choice" after they dismissed the charges. Which begs the question, why were they filed in the first place then?
