Open Range Day at BA

#1

Post by 82echo »

Saturday Oct 27 from 9am to noon. Archery, Airguns, 1000yd Long Range, USPSA & 3 Gun, Benchrest and Rifle Silhouette. Pay $7 at the main range, includes entry to the main range, . RSO will be done by the user groups that use those ranges. Am a bit disappointed it's only 3 hrs long.

G&F has been looking at opening other ranges to the public, they are in the process of gauging interest.

I wish they would open one in SanTan Valley. Driving to Usery to deal with awful range officers and an unstructured process to get access to different bays/members only ranges is just ridiculous. Most of us head to the desert but would spend more time actually shooting if we had a decent range.

27-Oct is one day of the ASRPA 600 yd championships on the 1000 yd HP range.

don't get your hopes up about shooting "open range day" on that range.

check out http://www.desertsharpshooters.com/ they run most events on Long Range. and almost all of them are open to everyone. If you have a zero for your long range rifle, you can shoot. But you have to shoot the same game they are shooting.

Game and Fish needs to get their worthless asses ran out of there and let the County take it over again. I still want to know how they got control of BA so they could ruin it.

+1

Since G&F took over I only go there when forced by circumstances.
