Off topic, but I’m curious. If you’re convicted of a crime on the res, where do they imprison you?

Typically, criminal penalties on the res that reach the level of felony are handled by the feds. So if you do a crime serious enough there, you'll be in a federal pen.

Good reason to stay away as far as I’m concerned.

Black river is would suspect isn't like it was decades ago, out entry point, was near bonita creek, amazing smallies, and have had encounters on several occassions with mother natures predators, cat, bear, and one time a rabid fox,
the fishery was awesome, and as leadman noted, ifn' keepn them for dinna, clean'm down at the creek and leave the goods for the critters,
something about the taste of those smallies that kept taking us back there.
Never had issues with the yataheys, lol, most of the rangers were cool, and only looking for nar do wells, have the permits for camping, fires, fishing ect. and issues go away, only issue will be citizens of the rez who may wander in to your camp, shite happens, you know.

I suspect many folks carry in many places because they know how to keep their mouth shut.

I stay off the rez cause SMG isn’t lying. You are not one of them and they let you know at every turn. They just want your currency and for you to keep it moving.

made it back. Very fun time. I suck at river fishing apparently. everyone else caught fish. fryed em up wed night. fish tacos.

Had a few bears around. lots of turkeys.
