New years eve bombardment in the hood

Well, from the sound of it, we had a few more machinegunners move in to the area. Sounded like the Ukrainian countryside last night.

You guys make me feel lucky. I took out my hearing aids, calmed the dog down, crawled into bed at 11pm. Hell it had to be midnight somewhere. Never heard a thing. My wife said Chandler was going strong until about 130 am.

Out in my neck of the woods we heard lots of fireworks - but not anything that my ear registered as gunfire. Oh... yeah... fireworks - and the bleating of the "my horses are people too - and fireworks scare them - so you all must stop celebrating immediately!" Those folks could be heard whining - for miles...

The worse for gunfire I ever heard during New Years was in El Paso Texas.
Place I was at was about two miles from the border, and it sounded like a day in Iraq, from small arms to what certainly sounded like a M2, it went on for hours, and probably all aimed unto the US.

My buddy in Tucson found this in one of his box trailers this morning at their shop near i10 and grant. Left a dent in the wood floor as well.

Why do they always open the good places after I move away from an area?

Best redneck fireworks video so far this year that I have found. This is from those nutty Norwegians at the Hydraulic Press Channel.

Top that killer Jerry Lee Lewis to a young Elvis to follow him. He set fire to his piano.
