Among the surprises in the data;...the largest manufacturer in Florida was NOT KelTec, but rather SCCY. Apparently pumping low priced pistols of only slightly better than Saturday Night Specials can lead to greater success.

Re: Arizona is #6 state for gun manufacturing
I have to wonder if they actually have a true representation of the "manufacturers" . I know a machinist that mills lowers for POF and a couple of others, but the name on the lower is that of a known manufacturer. How many of those are having their stuff made by someone else and just stamping their name on them?

Interesting you should mention that, because the #1 manufacturer in Commiefornia, Senga Engineering, is an outfit I've never heard of and who doesn't put their name on any firearms. It seems they simply manufacture polymer components for other weapon companies. But they are an FFL holder for manufacturing, and I guess they report to ATF every year that they made X number of receivers or frames.kenpoprofessor wrote: ↑December 28th, 2023, 10:37 am I have to wonder if they actually have a true representation of the "manufacturers" . Worth noting that MA and CT are not on this list. Those states were historically built on gun manufacturing.

Although Taxachussets still has Savage,...when S&W used to be their big gun maker. Why the phuk is Savage still there? Makes me not want to own a Savage product.MarkItZero wrote: ↑December 28th, 2023, 5:40 pm Worth noting that MA and CT are not on this list. Those states were historically built on gun manufacturing.
