The anti-gunners are lying: Covid kills more kids than guns

According to The Brady Campaign, 5 kids every day between the ages of 1 to 17 die from gun violence.

If we multiply that number by 7 days of the week, that comes to 35 child deaths per week.

But according to the CDC, for the age group 0 to 24 (so it is not an exact comparison, but close), Covid currently is killing about 100 per week.

This chart tracks natural deaths, which includes Covid. You can see in the trend line that prior to Covid-19, the highest blip for several years was 50 per week around New Year's in 2019/2020, and a spike of 25 in Oct./Nov. of 2018. Typical flu season spikes. But in late March and early April of this year, we reached 150 per week, and it has been over 100 per week since prior to Christmas.

So if we use the previous peak of 50 deaths per week before Covid hit, and subtract that as a baseline,...unless there has been some other deadly outbreak killing kids,...it looks like the hundred extra excess deaths per week we have experienced are from Covid.

But the anti-gunners will tell you guns are the deadliest threat to children.

Hmmmm. How many of these excess deaths are kids who were given the poison jabs encouraged by these same people who wanted (still want) those who didn't get the fake vaccine to die?
