Almost like the Democrats are paying the crazies. Guessing drugs and or mental illness will be part of the reasons.

Who was the Allen outlet mall shooter? Here's what we know so far

FBI agents and Dallas police officers arrived at the suspected shooter's home in Dallas to investigate and interview family members.

Guy in the truck and filmer in the car should burn in hell. Either of them could have used a ton of weapon to stop it near immediately.

Damn cowards

Honestly, I might've done the same thing if I wasn't armed. Guy was outside the vehicle and it would've been easy to lay suppressive fire to the windshield. I wouldn't take the chance of getting shot to save others who didn't bother to arm themselves and shoot back.

The other problem is lawsuits from the "victim's" family if he had done something. I don't want to spend bukoo $$ defending myself in court and face possible jail time. Give civilians qualified immunity for acts of heroism, then, I might step up.

Have to agree with Clyde, although my first thought on viewing was why is he backing up? First rule of rent a cops is "be a good witness," not "get involved." Civilian hero is such a "political" term nowadays. Some cities, you're a hero, some the goat. Until PJ's quote is universal, it will remain that way.
"There is only one basic human right, the right to do as you damn well please.
And with it comes the only basic human duty, the duty to take the consequences. P. J. O'Rourke"

I bet if one of us "intervened" and aerated the BG, we would have been:

A-aerated by the responding Officers
B-detained/arrested for having a high cap mag
C-sued by the family of the BG
D-sued by witnesses for emotional distress
E-sued by the mall

Yep, that's the problem with doing the "right thing". We don't have qualified immunity to shield our actions, ergo, go to jail, lose your job, lose your house, lose everything. Much like marriage to a girl that will cheat, there's no incentive for us to act.

Oh the liberals will be sooooo confused on this one. An ethnic Latino who's family required an interpreter to be interviewed by the police was a white supremacist?

Let me get my popcorn.
