Chaos at C2 Scottsdale, LOL

I was in the 'center' range room, lanes 10-17, and I was on the right-hand side in 17. I'd barely put half a box downrange, when emergency tones started wailing. :?

Then, the spigots of the fire-suppression system opened-UP.

Two-guys on 12-13, IIRC, got S O A K E D. Even their gear!

My spigot didn't bust-loose, thank-goodness. All I had to do was to follow
the range-kid out through the fancy club to avoid the ever
deepening puddle approaching my shoes.

They shut-down the entire range portion, understandably. I hope they get a quick
handle on things.

As a Fire Alarm inspecter/tester, I can tell ya, any suppression discharge is gonna be costly. Wonder what tripped it, or if they shot it?

Did it stink?

The water in the fire lines is the worst, wonder what happened to introduce water?

Yes, the odor was not strong...but somewhat like sewage?

EDIT:
Just called over there and was told that their best guess is that brass ejected from one of the rifles hit the sprinkler head JUST the right way. They said it's cleaned-up, they are up-n-running today.

If it was an impact from ejected brass they seriously need to put those inexpensive cages on the sprinkler heads. I'm betting they'll show up soon.
