I bought one made in 1982 in royal blue for $1,000 back in 2010, it was a great deal then but sold it for around $2,000 in 2016 boy am I still kicking myself... The worst part is it was my first handgun ever, lots of good memories with it...
I've got a few old timer gun collector buddies, im gonna ask all of them to check with other old timers I don't know... I would say gunbroker is highest way to buy anything considered collectable...

Are the newer made ones lacking or the age is the factor. Sometimes the newer guns in a line have their own issues but often last model sketchy areas corrected. Curious as I was eyeing a new one.
