I at one time was all over the C&R stuff, and milsurps, shotguns, doubles that is, older stuff, wanted to see the engineering of it, so learned to fix crap, it was a bane to me, as i leaned towards stuff that needed fixed, eventually got out of that.

now its the new SHINEY, hehehe,

have slowed my purchasing down, more select, and yeah, i have some high dollar gats, they get shot, rarely cleaned, who the fudge cleans a gat, hehehe.
happy thursday smuckettes

Well for those that think they have a collection look at this auction happening up by Prescott this weekend. Thinking RJ should just buy the whole shebang to restock the next downsizing sale.

I like odd....design / caliber. They need to be fun to shoot. time will tell which 50-70 roller is "best", the custom or the original action saddle ring.

Its all about what makes you happy. If your like most of us that will change over time. Don't put a number to it. I like rare and unique stuff, not really into 10,000 shotguns or engraving etc. But i appreciate those things... Having something that only 20 were imported is more interesting too me. Most would think its silly. I like Chinese SKS collecting because there are so many variations. The hunt and the research is the best part. The having part is less interesting.

I also plan to pass down to kids and grandkids. So i am collecting for them too.
If you’re hiding any D variants shoot me a pm.

No Ds have a sporter 94 ish import date that takes AK mags, a couple cowboy companions with original scopes and a Briklee Hunter with scope. A "D" is on the Radar.

I slimmed down a while ago and don’t regret it myself. Much of them went to friends and family at a good price for them. Others here on this board.

I find I only want my few I use as if I keep too many they won’t be used. As such I’m happy now with my smaller collection. 🤷🏼‍♂️
