You might have heard in the news yesterday or today that Bruce Willis has retired from acting due to suffering from a neurological affliction called aphasia. The symptoms of the condition produce a cognitive decline, including not being able to understand and use language, as well as other lacks of perception.
Apparently, signs of this have been turning up for Bruce for a few years now, but have finally gotten to the point where he just is a risk to himself and others.
One example is from 2 years ago, while on set with a blank-firing prop, he "misfired" it,...which is Hollywood language for unintentional discharge.

Not just the Die Hard movies -- I thought the REDS movies were hilarious. And the one where he played the hit man mixed up with the hapless dentist (the guy who had been on Cheers).
