You can see in this footage M4 carbines with ACOGs carried by the troopers, as well as DSHK mounted in the truck.

Captured Russian sniper rifle from overrun position outside of Kharkiv. The photo shows a 9x39mm ASM Val and a multi-caliber Lobaev Arms TSVL-8 M5 "Dominator" sniper rifle, with what looks like a carbon fiber suppressor body or barrel wrap.

The initial footage is dark, but it brightens up soon. FN Scar Ls and AR15 types seen in action.

And yes, there are still German MP-40s roaming the country

More German machineguns. Here we see Oleksandr Shapoval, soloist of National Opera ballet, Honored Artist of Ukraine, with his MG-3. Unfortunately, this is the last photo taken of him, shortly before he died yesterday in combat near Mayorsk, Donetsk region.

Looks like they tend to give the M-14s to Americans if there are any around to give them to. A lot of footage in the last 2 weeks of guys toting them around usually speak English.

Legendary loot time: an extremely rare Russian VKS "Vykhlop" bullpup sniper rifle, chambered for the 12.7×55mm subsonic round, was captured by Ukrainian forces. This rifle was developed specially for FSB of Russia and is uncommon to see even with their special units.

Helmets save lives. American volunteer got smacked in the dome by the rudder fin of an RPG as it flew just over his head.

The Ukrainian-made, Snipex Alligator 14.5x114 long-range, large-caliber, anti-materiel rifle — seen here with a silencer. According to Ukraine’s military, can penetrate a 10 mm armor plate from a single shot 1.5 km away.
