This Ukrainian has a Walther P22 in his chest rig. Does he have a little suppressor for it stowed elsewhere?

Somebody needs to learn some trigger discipline and about thermal diffusion. But both the PKM and the M240 are both so reliable even when abused like this,...some dudes just hose the foes until the ammo is gone without regard for trying to preserve the barrel. And damn it man,...SOMEBODY has to shag all that ammo you're throwing downrange.

More Uzis arriving, being issued to more vehicle crewmen. Previous batches were identified as former Dutch weapons, while the 2 pictured here are reportedly German MP2A1s.

More Bravo Co. rifles. Notice that the machinegunner on the right has replaced the PKM's regular stock with a Zenitco folding stock. Or, perhaps more likely, it was captured from VDV (Russian airborne) forces, who have issued PKMs and PKPs with the Zenetico stock. And they also have the well-regarded Spanish "Matador" anti-tank weapon.

Another Daniel Defense rifle in Ukraine, but this one has a chocolate brown colored finish, rather than FDE, Coyote Tan or black. On DD's website, they call this color option Mil-Spec+.

FN donated quite a few SCAR-Ls in 5.56 to Ukraine, and we have seen many of them. But they also provided a lesser number of SCAR-Hs in .308, which have not been so commonly seen. Here we see a Ukrainian soldier near Orikhiv with his.

Blowing your invaders to bits is fun and all, but sometimes you want to suck all the oxygen out of their hidey hole and set them on fire. With a lack of White Phosphorous grenades like the West has, Ukraine has improvised a napalm grenade. I'm curious how well this works. The detonator of a regular grenade is used as the bursting charge to rupture the used water bottle and throw the flaming gel everywhere. Hasta lasagna, don't get any on ya.

2 Polish GROT rifles on each side. But the American volunteer in the center has a Desert Tech MDRX 5.56 bullpup.

These lads are a couple of newly outfitted Ukrainians. The "Flectarn" camo uniform BDUs recently donated by Germany are a dead giveaway. And the FN SCAR-H rifles are also recently supplied. SCAR-Ls have been seen a lot, but very few SCAR-H examples, until recent weeks.

Sorry that there just hasn't been much to contribute to this thread lately. In preparation for the offensive that launched 2 days ago, Ukraine tightened up on OPSEC a lot, and there just hasn't been as much getting posted by their side for a few weeks. Now that the push has busted open, and as both sides try to capitalize on propaganda opportunities whenever and wherever possible, I expect images of individual weapons in the field will soon resume. However, for OPSEC reasons, there is likely to be a delay of days or weeks so that the opposing side can't use those images for useful intel. But I continue monitoring the images coming from the war and will happily post new relevant stuff as it appears.

Interesting....

"U.S. officials had also previously expressed concerns that aggressive security assistance from the United States to Ukraine “might also have an impact on 105 mm ammunition availability for MPF systems,” as a recent Congressional Research Service report put it.

The Pentagon has already forked over at least 450,000 105 mm rounds to the Ukrainian military since the start of Russia’s invasion, per the U.S. State Department.

But ramped-up production and supply chain work has relieved much of that concern, officials said.

“Ammo to Ukraine has not been a problem,” Dean said."
