Only three things are rattle can, the stock, the dust cover, and the mag. Everything else is the real metal color, including the buffer tube.
I didn't ask for an opinion of it, did I? But, yes, I do like it, very much, it was a long and drawn out process to find all the parts, and keeping it in a very narrow budget. I got the idea when I saw this one.
Some of them yes, but oddly, they were much more expensive than the anodized, weird huh? It isn't hard to deanodize, stinky though. The longest process was polishing the parts, down to 1200 grit wet, and then polishing. I plan on repolishing it soon though, there's some places that need some more time on it.
How is that supposed to function w/o a buffer assy?
That's actually pretty cool looking. Not for me, but definitely got some snap to it.AZ_Five56 wrote: ↑January 22nd, 2022, 4:44 pm This reminds me, I wanted to do a grungy AK build with this copper f/x patina.

There's a guy that did an old W123 Mercedes in the stuff and then he clear coated over it.

It doesn't matter if you asked for an opinion or not. That's what online forums are for - discussion, feedback, ideas, debate, opinions, etc.kenpoprofessor wrote: ↑January 22nd, 2022, 4:08 pmI didn't ask for an opinion of it, did I? I notice you didn't post anything of your own, is there a reason you haven't?
