Value of a Single Six 50th Anniversary edition

#1

Post by MarkItZero »

I have a new in box Ruger Single Six with the special anniversary edition box and both 22lr and 22 mag cylinders. Both cylinders are unfired, what is the approximate value of this?

You can't use GB open auctions as a gauge. A lot of people put up hail mary prices and they don't sell. You need to use "sold auctions" as a gauge for value. Value of a Ruger Single-Six (new) seems to be dependent upon the specific model and version of it and the ones successfully sold seem to go for $540 on the low end (https://www.gunbroker.com/item/916261694) - quite a few sell around that price - to around $1K on the high end for specific models (Birdshead, Bisley, SS, John Wayne SE).

10 Gun broker Auctions have recently ended and sold for this exact model Ruger model. Low End $499.00 High End $775.00. Avg price about $550.00 of course with Gun broker you have to in most cases add Shipping, CC up charge, Sales Tax and Transfer Fees.

Like any commemorative the beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
So, unless you find "that guy", it's just worth what any single six in that condition is worth.
