I just received the following from Legacy Sports International:

Legacy Sports would like to warn everyone that a fake website has been created using our logos, images and products. The address is fake and the phone number is a Google number.

Do not visit or contact the website.

Legacy Sports International does not sell to the general public.
We only sell to FFL's and not consumers.

Funny you should mention this. I have been on the hunt for a Sig Virtus pistol and ran into this website. Took me a sec to figure out this was a scam since it says "sicsauerclassics" in the web address. Oh, and everything is in stock and ready to ship...

Seems to be a pretty legit website though, so he has probably got a few people caught in his scam

I just texted the guy just now via a little chat icon on his website.

Its ok, his web site says he has a 30 day money back guarantee.

Does he take paypal? If so, report it to paypal since they forbid using their service for firearms and ammo.

Seems to be first choice or you could use your cc if you do not have pay pal.

The more trouble you can cause fake websites like this the better. I don't use PayPal because they are vehemently anti-gun. I look at it like this, getting PayPal to cut these sites off is like giving your enemy used toilet paper to wipe his nose with. Both are equally ethical.

A friend of mine is an FFL in Fountain Hills. He had someone use his FFL to start a fake website. Obviously committing fraud on people that were buying anything on the site, as they were collecting payment, but there wasn’t any guns coming. He contacted ATF, FBI and even MCSO. Nobody was even interested in looking at it. Apparently it’s happening a lot and nobody cares.

I've come across MANY fake ammunition websites; they're
not to hard to spot, as they all require payment by Bitcoin,
PayPal with the "friends and family" payment category, Zello,
Venmo, etc. where you have no way to get your money back
after you've paid them for the ammo you'll NEVER get.

Also, they tend to have really GREAT prices, much lower than
the current ammo pricing....
