I just got an email from Sportsman's Guide that a case of 9mm that was on backorder for 16 months just shipped at preCovid prices before the price spike; with free shipping to boot!

4 more case on backorder....

these days, that's a bargain.

you could flip each case for $5-600 with ease right now.
(but then you would have no ammo and be in the same boat as the ones you sold to)

Well it was about that time that I noticed that the Girl Scout was about 8 stories tall and a crustacean from the protozoic era!

A couple of months ago I shot an El Presidente. Time was not great. "Want to try it again, see if you can knock some time off?" (Mental calculation: 12 shots at 50 cents per shot = $6.00.) "Nah, I'm OK with that one."

How about a Bill Drill? Nah, I'm good.

Only $350? Seems more like a brag than anything else considering the current pricing. I finished piecing together a 7.62 gun like a week before the ammo ban was announced. So great timing on my part. I'd like to buy some but I sure as hell am not paying .50/round for steel cased 7.62

you fellas seem to go about it all wrong, i have always gone to the school of buy ammo, all ammo, and if i don't have a gat for it, you got it, new toy, new shiney, and if it no likely Rj, well then always a suc..taker every minute.

good luck on the ammo, remember when things get back to semi normal, buy long, deep and all you can of everything cause if it happen, you can always find a gat for that case or two you stashed, depends on what yer willing to do to get it.
happy thursday, a blessed day it is.

Back before the election, on a hedge, I bought a bunch of ammo, just in case it all went wrong. So glad I did. It hurt. I bought calibers I don't even own guns for,...but it was worth it.

"When things get back to normal..." Maybe things won't get back to normal. Maybe this time next year, we'll be saying, "I remember when I could get a case of Wolf 7.62x39 for only $350. And 9mm for only 40 cents per round. Man, I wish I had stocked up at those prices."

The better question is where did you find it for $350/case?
