Forcing the shots is the ultimate tyranny. It's one thing to make you pay all of the taxes, and jump through all of these ridiculous hoops to operate in society, but this would be crossing a clear line. Conversely it seems the vaccine will not always keep you from getting covid either. Just like the Flu vaccine doesn't stop you from getting the flu. I know there rhetoric is that if you have the vaccine your case may be less traumatic. But how would one know if there case would have been worse unless you had it before the vaccine. I disregard a lot of that as trying to justify it. For those that feel better getting the vaccine that's fine, but i wish we would stop trying to convince others they need it or tell us the merits of it. If you want it get it. If you don't, don't get it. A vaccine has never been mandated in my lifetime. Typically you are told the merits and potential side effects and make a choice for your own health. The Polio Vaccine took 20 years to develop it was proven to be the best option and was for a disease that was crippling and killing children. So yes we got it. It wasn't political that i remember, i am sure some didn't get it. This is not the same in any way. The point of this post is that Canada is using Covid as a way to control or force citizens into something they may not want to do. Many Canadians are good people and not socialists or commies. Especially away from the large cities. What is happening there is of interest because its a trend that is disturbing. Not that it currently directly correlates to us. But the fact is they are trying to move that way. To go to a concert here in AZ at many venues you must have proof of vaccination or a negative test within 72 hours. Yet i attended the Cardinals game on Sunday, with 50K folks most not wearing a mask, no mandates for vaccines, no social distancing and so far none of us have dropped dead from Covid. What this means to me is i won't be going to places that mandate the vaccine or covid test. Which is too bad because i enjoy concerts and other events. It will probably not matter as most will comply, just like in Canada. Most will get the shot especially if its keeping them from doing something they want to do. People are easily talked into almost anything. Once a decision is made most folks are too stubborn to listen to anything that goes against there choice whatever it is. The part for me is the mandate. My dad told me lots of things as a Teenager i could not do and i did them all and more. Don't tell me what to do... LOL Even if its in my best interests..... Yea i know dad you were right.
