One owner I talked to today said it is the normal people coming in and a couple have said there are some really weird people coming out in droves buying cheap rifles and pistols, guess mommy didn't give them much money to start the revolution with. I was at a gun store last week and saw a couple with the koolaid dyed hair leave when they said they don't sell AK's.

Well, after their owners no longer need them, there will be plenty of cheap guns for the taking.338lapua wrote: ↑June 26th, 2018, 11:52 pm One owner I talked to today said it is the normal people coming in and a couple have said there are some really weird people coming out in droves buying cheap rifles and pistols, guess mommy didn't give them much money to start the revolution with. This is what I would think it was from. They think the Constitution is a living document and hasn't been evolving with the times. And we who know that is was written to be as is are Neanderthals.brandyspaw wrote: ↑June 26th, 2018, 8:06 amYeah, unfortunately I believe an alarming amount of gun and ammo purchases are from the other side including those idiots like the John Brown Gun Club and the so called redneck revolt cretins.
Also new products coming out also. There are a few new and old that I need to get to that will add to the count.

I"d say, i really never stopped, might have slowed some on a few items, but overall, continue on the important things, and that is making sure the circle is full of individual or teams that can compliment others in their skills, now if nothing happens its still one helluva plan, and idea to be prepared, one never knows what the hell goes

I see it as a good thing. Something that folks use, and what they need are stocking up. Can't really say that's a bad thing since prices keep going up on about everything.
I was always taught that...... it's better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it.

In my pre adolescent days I learned the Boy Scout motto: "Be prepared"
Not sure what they are teaching in Boy Scouts these days but it was, and still is, a good motto.
Of course, stock piling, like many things, can be taken to extreme.

I think a good percentage of new gun owners are women who want to protect themselves and children. From what I've heard the liberals and lefties are buying a lot too. then there are the average Joe's who feel they need something- anything. lastly there's us unwashed masses that are just adding a few new faces to the safe.
Me? I'm selling - beware the man who has only one rifle... type of thing.
What you need to watch is the ammo sales. We tend to use a lot on fun shooting and practicing as much as we do. Those other groups are more likely to buy a box or two and they 're all set.
now to start saving for the latest tie-dyed shirt...

One of the things I noticed hanging out at my friends gun store was a couple would buy a pair of ar's and 200 rounds of ammo. I really don't know what you are going to learn with 100 rounds a piece but go for it.Harrier wrote: ↑July 12th, 2018, 6:14 am I think a good percentage of new gun owners are women who want to protect themselves and children. I have never been a big ammo buyer at gun stores but I used to have a wall of 970 empty Winchester primer boxes in my garage. I tend to keep several 1,000 round cases of factory ammo around in each caliber I shoot or stuff I loaded with new cases myself. You can never have too much ammo.

Re: Americans are still stockpiling
I think most of the stockpiling is being done by people like us. Especially the ones that remember the massive shortages we experienced a few years back and the ones who remember the $150 Glock mags during the AWB. We typically buy stuff like ammo in bulk and things are available now sometimes at affordable prices. How long will $500 ARs last? Might as well buy a couple and store ‘em. Mags are cheap so buy a bunch. Those imported rifles on the market now could be the SG510’s or HK rifles going for 10x that price in a few years when they’re unavailable so buy what you can. That’s why I do it.
I doubt very many liberal types are arming up although some are.The warring political parties and left wing/socialist armed revolutionary types living in desperate poverty we’ve seen in other countries are different than the limousine liberals and Bernie Sanders Socialists we have here. Most of them have never gone hungry and come from wealthy priveledged lives. Most of these Democrat socialists are coming from affluent wealthy communities where they have enough leisure time to ponder the injustices of the world but don’t have a clue what hard work or struggle really is. I doubt very many of them would ever have the balls to ever pick up a weapon to fight for anything

I've been buying mags for the last couple of months, as well as other things. I've tried to impress on my buddies this is the good times and they should spend the bucks.
