So back to panic buying ...seems that at least a couple of the new purchasers are starting to turn guns loose. If you like to window shop like I do AZgunbuys had a couple go at good prices.

This guy just let go a CZp01 for $600 that he says he bought a couple weeks ago but needs to make bills.

That is a steal! If sh*t would calm down I think there may be some nice bargains coming.

New gp100 recently sold there at a sweet price too!
I have not looked through AZGunBuy yet. Most of what I’m looking for probably won’t be up on there but I’ll search anyway just in case something interesting shows up.

Many years ago a good friend of mine scored a almost new GP100 on consignment at a LGS for $300. He walked in, saw the asking price, checked the barrel and lockup and shelled out his money. Didn’t skip a beat on that one. Fine shooting gun.
It doenst have the sheer volume of listings as Armslist but I think its more for the enthusiasts and has less junk ads.

I am not a big 9mm guy but I do love me some CZ. Had I seen that P01 at $600 I just might have gone ahead and added a gun!!

Fun place to window shop just for sport.

A GP at $300!!! Yea ... I would have been all over it even though I already own 2. Considering a 3"10mm. Hoping someone bought one and then finds it a bit much and lets it loose at a fair price.

Dreams are FREE!! :D

I’m not a big 9mm guy either except that now that I can CCW I need to practice with my Sig P228. I had accepted a job in another state and bought it back in the early to mid 90’s for EDC. But the job fell through and I didn’t move. It has sat in my safe all these years. Just moved here recently so it’s time to break out the Sig and practice with it.

With all that said I am a revolver guy. I have a small collection of revolvers, in 9mm. One of which is a Ruger Speed Six which is the grandpappy to the GP100. So while I don’t consider myself a 9mm guy I do shoot a fair amount of it since I enjoy shooting all my revolvers. And now that I have broken out the Sig I am shooting more 9mm.

I guess it’s time to break out my Gen 2 Glock 17.

Two things:

Haven't been on here in a bit but man, what's with all the pissing and name calling? I wonder if you all would talk like that in front of each other in public? wtf

Also, manufacturers are no longer considering this a "panic". This is a recognized state of continuing scenario in the US and appears that it will continue regardless of the election in Nov. Most quality manufacturers across all channels have more orders in que than they could actually fill this year if they stopped taking any new orders in tomorrow. Keep that in mind. If you're not dry firing at home to keep up with skills and rationing your ammo for range days you should rethink your position. Unless you have an ammo tree, in which case I'll pay good money for some good seeds or saplings if they're for sale.

Civilized men are more discourteous than savages because they know they can be impolite without having their skulls split, as a general thing.

I'm a big believer in the .22LR during 'panics'...can still go practice, still use it for defense...easy to carry a lot of rounds, lightweight...

If we ever survive this mess, I should at least try to buy either a Mk47 or a PSA47, because one thing that this panic has taught me, is to get into the cheaper peasant caliber because it will still be available until wiser folks start catching on as of late.
On that train of thought, I have noticed a few calibers are still in stock to be ordered, though they may not be on the shelf at your local shop.

5.45x39
.41mag
.357SIG
6.5Grendel

None of these are any slouch and are all effective within their particular realms. Yes,...they tend to cost more during regular times. But right now, their prices are nearly unchanged,...and even cheaper in many cases than .223 or 9mm!

This is the wrong approach. The correct approach is to buy it cheap and stack it deep so you don't have to worry about it when the shortages occur.

I've got a KKM match barrel in .40 coming in soon, it's a conversion barrel for my G20. Makes me feel a bit better and saves me some cash from having to go looking for a G22 gen 4. Plus as you know, the 20 feels like we're firing mouse farts with .40 unconverted already so why not, right?
The way .40 ammo inventory was the first to recover back in 2013 after that ammo shortage had a lot to do with why I have a G23 with the 9mm conversion barrel. I almost never shoot it in .40, and just keep the original barrel as a back-up caliber for what if.

Saw a couple of places online with the Glock 43X in stock for $549, so maybe the storm is letting up...

That's about $100 over what they where and should be going for. Not bad. I want an all black one but I've waited this long. Maybe in another month or 2 they will be less than $500 and I'll snatch one up.
