Weenis, how did you get settled up? Did he owe you a tic tac or something?
I don't think there were any shill accounts involved on the old AZ shooting site. Guy had a good history and a decent size shop setup in his garage. My spidey cells were tingly right away due to all the tats, but he was a good talker and seemed like a legit gun guy. And if you dealt with other gunsmiths in our area, most under the age of 50 aren't exactly clean cut. Hell, its AZ most people outside of a cubicle aren't exactly clean cut. I decided to not judge a book by its cover, unusual for myself and it bit me in the ass. So much for having an open mind, won't make that error again.
BTW, there was a physical can when I was there at his house, ATF approved two form 4s for the same can but the other guy picked it up first. I have pretty much written the whole thing off and amazed anyone has gotten settled up at this point.

Stuck taking him to court for 5k. He's lucky at this point people didn't just beat his truck with a sledge.

What sucks is how little law enforcement has given a s***. Why doesn't this happen more often then if nobody seems to give a flying fudge? Glendale/Peoria say call AG. The AG is more worried about reelection and slow as s***. Courts say call ATF or get an attorney. ATF just wants to shoot someone dog. At what point is failure of law enforcement to do their jobs a legit legal defense against assaulting someone who committed fraud/theft?

LEO and Feds only care about these products as tax/revenue generating devices... they don't actually care about people's lives, the danger or safety suppressors create, or anything else.
The $200 tax we pay to buy suppressors is straight theft. That's all there is to it.
This situation and how the PDs, AG, and the ATF have responded to it is proof of such.

You must be one scary dude to get your money back at this point... want to take a 40% cut on collections from the rest of us?
As far as LE not caring, imagine how much stuff goes un-prosecuted when this case is so easily documented for fraud. I think there is so much fraud in this state, especially against the elderly, unless it hits high 5 digits to low 6 digits, nobody in LE cares.

Given the amount of time this has gone on and the number of folks scammed, how does this clown still have his kneecaps?shooter444 wrote: ↑December 3rd, 2018, 10:36 am Well,... my guess is, he has been very smart, when picking the right people to scam,... or he wouldn't be logging in anywhere,... imho.

Because assault isn't less illegal than theft.
Now, he doesn't owe me money, but if I heard he got his ass kicked I wouldn't be upset.

Well,... I am definitely a very strong advocate against illegal activities,... that I could get caught doing.
