Suprise
Suprise
I have been going through my collection.
Counting up ammo, sorting everything since we moved over a year ago.
Needed a couple ammo cans. There they were 3 empty 50s
First one good to go, 2nd one was not empty .
Same with the 3rd. Yep 500 rounds of .45 acp in each!
A good day organizing.

Re: Suprise
Was it really necessary to post that information? To what purpose? To make the rest of us feel bad?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: Suprise
It’s like finding an extra fry in the bag. Always a win.
Re: Suprise
Sorry folks,
Not wanting to rub it in to the ones short right now.
Probably should not mention the backpack with a couple hundred rounds of 9mm, some .45, and 7.62X39, and some 12ga. sprinkled in as well I opened today.
Oops too late.

Re: Suprise
It happens. When I pulled everything out a couple months ago I found a case of buckshot and a case of 9mm that I don't even remember buying

Re: Suprise
Was tunneling into the back of my closet looking for some hiking boots a while back and found a crate of 7N6 I had no recollection of hiding from myself there. Maybe the best thing that happened to me in 2020 and proof that losing your mind is not all bad..

Re: Suprise
I have a whole bunch of odd caliber ammo inherited from my ex-father-in-law. This stuff is from the 1950's and 1960's. All calibers I don't have guns for. I guess it is time to sort and sell it. It is in original factory boxes, so I need to get busy and maybe list it on the For Sale board. The problem is I'm in Prescott and nobody wants to come up here for a box or two of ammo.

Re: Suprise
Reminds of how thrilled I was in 2009 to reload and see the cost less than half. That is great if you still shoot the same amount. It will only cost you 1/2. But if shoot twice as much it is the same cost as before reloading. Never opted for the savings went for shoot twice as much right away.

Put together a list. It's getting on summer time and people will be heading up the hill in search of cooler weather. AZS postal service could help move the stuff around if payment can be arranged by paypal, or something similar.
