Dumb crook of the day; rifling through gun-owners bag during CCW class, then attempt to stab cop = dropped by 5 shooters

Another dumb decision by a criminal before assuming room temperature.

The dumb demonstrated here is at a level of colossal, it should merit its own niche in the pantheon of bad decisions.

Vegas Man Shot 14 Times Outside a Vegas Gun Range
Las Vegas — Officers were called at 11:59 a.m. last Weds to The Range 702, at 5999 Dean Martin Drive, after an employee reported that a man had been caught rifling through a customer’s bag during a break from a concealed carry permit course . Range employees escorted the man, Marvin Payton Jr, 27 outside to await the police.

Seconds after police pulled up, the man attacked a female officer, striking her twice with a screwdriver. Most everyone on the scene then shot Payton 14 times.

The guy was escorted outside by 3 folks, who were present and armed when the guy tried to stab the female officer. 5 shooters. 2 cops, 3 customers, 1 bullet-sponge.

In the few pistol classes I've been in, firearms were in cases during class time. Not on your person.

She's lucky she didn't take that screwdriver to the brain. It looks like she took two shots to the head from that guy.

I'm going to bet the shooters were range employees. Honestly .. there were maybe 3 or 4 people in my class of 20 that went in able to shot the very basic skills part with any proficiency.
