I have had a Az. CPW since 2002, and my current one expires in 2021. I only show it to ease the nerves of a inexperienced seller, and, never ask for anything in return. But, have always had one flashed back at me, if they had one.

More of a, fellow patriot courtesy, than anything else.

To answer the OP's question, no it would not be a make or brake deal for me. I buy what I want from who I want. If he spoke in Farsi and had a towel rapped around his head I would not buy, at least not in the states. If he had gold chains and a gold tooth I would not buy from him. If he had a hot wife and 3 kids in a mini van I might buy from him with out all that yes.

I think it is in general use nationwide because in many states it is a permit to carry a concealed firearm, which they refer to as a weapon. However I think the Arizona CWP is a little different in that it allows any weapon to be carried concealed... although I'm a bit fuzzy on butterfly knives and nun-chucks, which I think are outlawed and thus may not be covered, but concealed lead pipes and machete's are...

as far as the other questions, buying or selling is... cash only and I will show my DL or CWP but no pics or receipts or other paperwork of any kind or else no deal- They are not required and I can't control what happens to those 'extras' in the future, so no way am I gonna release that stuff to a stranger.
Any gun I bought with 4473 paper, gets sold thru a FFL to document the end of the trail for my ownership.

I have done all the leg work to get mine, just waiting on the AZDPS(been over two months). I primarily got it for ease of 4473, and reciprocity.
