Heard this on the radio on my drive home so I had to look it up. Seems legit maybe? I guess time will tell.

Pfft.....a couple shotguns and boxes of shells. Guess they needed the publicity or the Biden campaign called and wanted to make sure BLM could get guns on Nov 4th without a pesky NICS check.

I'm betting it'll be about a week for them to restock shelves again. Inside politics within their company. News and policies trickle down slow to the workers.

Correct me if I am wrong.
Were the Walmart receiving guys buying the ammo, before it went on the floor, and selling it on Craigslist/Backpage for a tidy markup ?
I seem to remember something like that scenario.

Back in 2008, that was the situation.

But when the ammo panic after Newtown happened in 2013, some dudes figured out how to use Walmart's inventory tracking via the mobile app to know when the ammo was going to hit the shelves hours before it happened. Walmart finally disabled that feature after numerous complaints.

Was at local Walmart yesterday. Shelves bare, but employee was preparing to restock. However, she said, they didn't have much inventory. No 22LR, just 22Mag. No .30/06, .270, .243, but some 7mm Mag and other less-standard calibers. No buckshot, but plenty of birdshot. (Cut slugs, anyone?)
