J. Michael passed away on May 17, 2023.

Met Michael at the World Championship in Johannesburg, SA and spent a week hunting with him. A real mans-man, competitor and teacher. A great loss to the shooting community. RIP Brother.

I didn't know about his passing. He was quite good as a teacher as he really had the knack of explaining things such as trigger control, grip and stance in such a way that would help. His book on shooting was "Shooting From Within" and is worthwhile even though its a bit dated by now.
