Well I gotta admit,...I thought they were still manufactured entirely in Brazil. I had no idea they had moved operations to Georgia.

I purchased a Taurus 1911 a couple years ago and I couldn't be happier with it. That thing is honestly the most accurate handgun I have ever owned. The wife and I will head out in the hills and go for evening walks and shoot jack rabbits with our carry pistols for practice.

Just gotta replace the hammer that has the silly lock, or gut the lock components if possible. Probably ought to replace the MIM extractor, as I have seen the claw broken off of one. Otherwise, solid, forged guns.
