Activist shareholders warn Smith & Wesson

More gun control activism coming from the shareholder ranks. The article emphasizes that a group of Nuns are driving this. When you look under the hood...you will find there is a corporate level driver....Catholic Healthcare...which has a group called "Initiatives" with a full time activist Vice President and budget.

Its a typical liberal Disease ! They don't care if the company ends up closing doors, laying off people and hurting the states tax revenue. Its all about the end point. No different than what is going on in DC. Mueller send cases to New York knowing they will prosecute no matter what the cost is !

Liberal leaning Companies have been known to go out of business because of their ideology ! It is SAD !

Wouldn't it be cool if S&W's PR department were to round up people who had saved their lives, and other people's lives with S&Ws, and have them meet the protesters, hand out punch and cookies, and ask the protesters "Why do you wish I had been killed? Why do you think I should go to jail for defending myself? Why do you have so much hate in your heart?"

I don'tknow, this just doesn;t seem right to me.

Hypothetical,... a group of activists buy a substantial amount of stock in a company, and then use that stock option power to influence the marketing of the company in a direction contrary to its bottom line/profit margin projection!

Seems to me,... the non activist / remainder of stock holders, would have legal standing to bring a actionable suit against activist stock holders for introducing, influencing, and, or, forcing, the company to move in a direction contrary to its profitability.

Ahhh, but, what the f*** do I know,... I'm just ornery old bastard living in the middle of the desert!

Here's a reasonable, commonsense (C) proposal:
Register all Catholics, with universal background checks. It's for the children.

How about S&W's debacle and reneging on the Gemtech sale?

Orig Gemtech Guys now suing S&W for Breech of Contract.

I felt that the sale of Gemtech could be a Gun Grab in disguise.

S&W at it's heart is a metal machining company. Maybe the catholic PTB are looking to get S&W to make airweight chastity belts for the market they created?

A chastity belt and the catholic church. LOL.... OK.

Maybe one for little boys to keep them safe from the deviants that run that show.
