The manager just drops it matter-of-factly: "We're imposing a 3-day waiting period on all purchases right now." SO, I play along with 'Oh, you mean like to help avert a suicide or something?' Her response was, "No, just because all of the craziness going on".

No just being snarky however it's hard to convey over text. I suppose if I wanted a point I could say something like this. Perhaps we should employ the tactics of woke culture in order to create a situation that could be used for a lawsuit. We organize a group of people mostly white and a separate mostly non white. Go to different locations and try to purchase a gun some people would have to be background actors and slyly record the interactions. Repeat the process until one of them trips up on the "3 day wait". Then we sue for discrimination. We could even make sure we stack the deck with ccw holders so its more likely a sympathetic clerk would fall into the trap. Feel bad for the clerk we'd screw over but woke people never care about the collateral damage anyway.
