Well,...wouldn't that be cool if Remington was packed up and shipped out to Winslow?

Very interesting. Personally, I wouldn't buy any newer Remington's since they've been having issues lately. Maybe they'll turn the brand around. It would be very cool it manufacturing was moved out to AZ or NM too.

I hear this logo isn't being used anymore. Maybe they can adopt it.

The business plan is to stop making rifles that people want to buy, and make rifles that people don't want to buy.

Smart.

It sure would because they have such a highly trained highly motivated workforce just waiting to make high quality firearms. No thanks.

If you think Remington was run poorly before just wait until they get a new chief at the helm.

I don't see them last long. Will probably take a few years for them to finally go down.

You know what I find odd about this is the Indians on the navajo res have been bitching about funds to cover this covid crisis yet they have found money to possibly buy a weapons manufacturer. Seems they're as bad as the 13%ers when it comes to hand outs.

I noticed that you dropped off the part of that quote that said that was their 2018 plan. That was the reason their bid was rejected 2 years ago. Have you seen anything that indicates it is still their plan?
The Navajo Nation made a bid in 2018 for Remington, planning to use an investment trust to fund a purchase that would transform...

Maybe I was mistaken in just assuming that the Navajo Nation, having announced in 2018 that they would not make EBRs, had not changed their position. I didn't see anything that said they had reconsidered.

Remington is owned by the Freedom Group? Does that mean Bushmaster, DPMS, H&R & Marlin are going under too?
