Appeals court reinstates California law requiring background checks for ammo purchases

“A California appeals court reinstated a background check requirement for ammunition purchases this week, this after a federal judge had deemed the law unconstitutional and a violation of the Second Amendment.”

Unfortunately this turned out to be freedom week 2.0. Hopefully it can be appealed further.

When I saw that it was reinstated it didn't surprise me. New state boarder sign for Cali, "Welcome to California. Your constitutional rights end here."

An ammo store in Ehrenberg next to that Flying J would make a killing.

Like the fireworks stands at the border of states that allow fireworks, or liquor stores bordering dry counties.

Ammo stores just across the state line would be a money maker. But it wouldn't be long before CHP set up check points looking for unregistered ammo.
