A Dallas hair salon owner on Friday defied a lock down order and opened her business.

Although Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins sent a cease and desist letter, salon operator Shelley Luther said that despite the threat of being fined, she will not close Salon A la Mode, according to WFAA.

"I’m not closing,” she told KDFW.

“Because all of the small business owners need to have some sort of voice, and we need to stand up for what’s right or we’ll continue to get our freedom taken away,” she said.

The letter she received to close told her that “a violation of this order during a pandemic may be punished criminally as a misdemeanor or enforced by civil action pursuant to the order.” Although some Texas businesses are being allowed to reopen on a limited basis, hair salons are not among them.

One worker at the salon said the right to make a living has been infringed for too long.

“Have you ever heard of the right of assemble? The right to work? The right to pursue happiness?” Kristi Parker said. “And I don’t appreciate the long arm of the government telling the blue-collar workers that we can’t work.”

“And I’ll tell you something right now, the attorney general has her hand so far up his butt that she can actually move his mouth. So no, I will not comply to this insane socialist governor. And that’s why I won’t close.”

Gov abbot opend pretty much everything up starting May 1st with reduced capacity. This order trumps the retard judges who run the counties in texas.

Most have been getting the middle finger anyways.

Dallas county judge jenkins almost started/threatened to sending National Guard to the homes of those snitched on to force them to quarantine and do contact tracking. I say almost because someone with a bit of intelligence asked him if he was willing to see dead guardsmen cause that crap would not fly, the forced quarantine part by the "military". He quietly backed down.

I'm sure the guard said that's not our jobs, just like most LEOs have said about ticketing and fining people and businesses for masks and getting to close.

Our political employees may offer all the advice, studies, facts, figures, and medical services needed,... that they are paid, by us, to do!

But,... it is up to every individual sovereign citizen to listen to them, and make their own educated decision,... to follow,... or, NOT!
