I always laugh when some dingdong replies to a thread about the ATF at your door with statements like :

"I am not doing anything wrong, I have nothing to hide" and/or "I will talk to them, and be cordial - they are just doing their job" or whatever. Amazing how so many people think law enforcement is like the Andy Griffith show.

Newsflash, they aren't your friend. They aren't stopping by to chat about the weather, or see how your dinner last night went. They are there to try to coax you into incriminating yourself - period. They already suspect you of committing a crime or breaking a rule - or they wouldn't be there. You are on a list, and they want to find anyway they can to prosecute. It doesn't matter if you are violating something or not.

You aren't the one who decides if "you have nothing to hide" - they are. By answering the door, and speaking to these retards you have opened a window for them to exploit any number of tactics. Legal or not.

That is why I don't answer for anyone I am not directly expecting.

No one with any personal integrity works for the ATF. There are no good guys there. If they are doing a knock n talk it's because they are short on evidence to get a warrant to begin with and they are there to further develop that probable cause TO PHUCK YOU.

It's my understanding if memory serves that the 3rd Circuit Court Of Appeals a while ago ruled that granting law officials access to you home when the come to your door without a warrant constitutes a wavier by the homeowner of his or her rights against unlawful search and seizure.

And this is why I don’t let cops hang out at the bunker.

Geezus, why the hell did you let him in?? You realize you become just another perp regardless if you're the good guy or not. It didn't used to be that way, it's become this way over time and no one stopping them from taking power.

Have a great, gun carryin', Kenpo day

Another thing not to do is throw the door open, with gun in hand, and yell, "Come and take them, beeyotches!"

That officer and many others were well know by me and me by them, I repaired their radios for several years.

Here's a link to a great video about why you should never talk to the police. It's long but worth it.
