From what I understand, that's how the weed stores operate, and they do 10K times as much business.

Most of my gun shop customers pay in cash. It is pretty common for guys pulling out a grand or more when buying a gun or accessories. I think a lot of them like to stay off the gooberment or wife radar.

There are cash apps available to use for these deals, you don't need a credit card. The bank doesn't know what the purchases are for when you use the app. Venmo, Zell, even Paypal.

Details are coming out about how this happened.

Apparently it was Amalgamated Bank that requested this of the IOSRMMG. Less than a week after Amalgamated submitted their request, the NY Attorney Gen. Letitia James (who is seeking to disband the NRA) and Commiefornia Atty.Gen. Rob Bonta sent letters to the CEOs of AmericanExpress, Visa and Mastercard, demanding them to support the new merchant code. On Wednesday, NY Governor Hochul took the pressure public, tweeting that should do so.

I wondered who is Amalgated Bank, since I had never heard of them. A quick Google search shows they are owned by the SEIU. Golly, you don't say?

So it was a carefully planned arm-twisting job by the unions and the commies from the start

Maybe it's time to start boycotting credit cards, remember when Target lost $2.5 billion with their woke bathrooms?

That's a great idea. Remember the ultimate financial goal for the globalists is the elimination of cash. Then they get to decide what you can buy and where. This thread is a great example of that.

the internet sales guys will figure a work around i hope, i do buy some that way, but would prefer to buy local, but finding what one has to have at the moment is unlikely,

can say it will dampen and or slow my buying down, for sure, unless they take check via fax, which we do on some suppliers.

I wonder how long it will be before a credit card company gets sued by the parent of a school shooting victim, for not "flagging" the sale to law enforcement.
