California store owner defends business, shoots robber

Post by Half Cocked »

An 80-year-old store owner defending his business shot a robber in the arm which sent him and the other scumbags that were with him fleeing.

After the shooting the store owner suffered a heart attack but he is apparently recovering. Prayers for the store owner.

Davon Anthony Broadus, 24, of Inglewood, Justin Kyle Johnson, 22, of Inglewood, and Jamar Elijah Williams, 26, of Las Vegas, were arrested and booked into the Robert Presley Jail in Riverside Sunday on suspicion of robbery and conspiracy.

A fourth man, whose identity was not disclosed, was wounded and remains hospitalized, but is expected to recover and will be booked into jail on similar allegations when he’s medically cleared to leave the hospital, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.

More on this attempted robbery:
Sheriff's deputies said the 23-year-old suspect that Cope hit remains in critical condition.
:handgestures-thumbup:

In an interview today this is what the 80-year-old store owner had to say:
"Well, I think more people should vote and vote the right way, and I think the politicians...this isn't going to get me on the right side of a lot of people. But there's a whole lotta people out there, they got no clue what it's like to try to run a small business. And when they're letting people out...and we've got bad people, let's face it. There's bad people, bad people we don't need. We need to get them locked up because this is a scary situation when that happens. Everybody works hard. They got bills to pay. These guys are going to come in and take it away from you. Not here."

A Good One From Vegas, Smoke Shop owner stabs the dumb phuk
“Stop, please! I’m dead! I’m dead,” the would-be robber said as he collapsed to the ground.

“I remember him saying, ‘Please don’t let me die,'” Nguyen said. “He said he was sorry. By that point, he took off his mask himself. I was trying to get on the phone with the police when he was trying to talk to me. I just ran and wanted to make sure the police and ambulance would get here on time.”

Nguyen said police told him the robber was 17-years old. His condition was not clear.
:eusa-violin: The dumb phuk should have thought about the possible consequences before trying to rob the store.
Nguyen, who turns 23 on Saturday, said he is thankful that he survived the ordeal. He said the incident left him “shook” and he plans to look into arming himself with other weapons for protection.

“Small business owners like us, this is our livelihood,” Nguyen told The Post. “Not only are they threatening our lives, but our livelihood, so we have to stay vigilant.”]

Yeah. He needs to get a shotgun or something like that bad ass dude in Norco.
