I can't recall where I read it this morning, but supposedly he was packing a Glock chambered in .357SIG
To me, that indicates he is not a novice shooter and likely a pistolero like one of us. Perhaps an IDPA competitor on occasion like many of us? I have nothing to back that up, but its just a sense I have of this.

I hope all goes well for this young man, I foresee a problem from the anti’s carrying in the mall, civil suit’s and etc. mall owner, the city, how long before the protestors show up in his front yard?

In the video at the bottom of the page, the officer states the murderer went to the range to practice shooting for the last couple years ....... like that is relevant to the story!
Like he went to the range and maybe should have been RED flagged.........
I wonder if he'd write the same thing if he were in the mall. I'm betting his wife and her boyfriend are laughing at this right now.

Wow good shooting - sure looks different with all the distractions everywhere, much different than a range with a contrasting target out there by itself.

I am bumping this one. In an area LGS recently, a staffer was discussing RMRs with another customer. He asserted that our stud at the mall had an optic on his Glock, and "that's all he knew". The latter comment reference how he was trained. As-in, not brought-up on irons like us geezers.
Has anyone come across any such reference which corroborates that info?

Love hearing good news like this. Hopefully he doesn't get in any trouble for carrying in a mall that had no gun signs. Maybe he didn't "see" the sign, or maybe he'd rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6.

Now that's interesting, I thought he had a G-19 but never considered a red dot......now I need to know as well. Also, what was his mag capacity ... did he go to slide lock.
Pretty sure it was a G19 so 9mm.....so per POS biden, the perp must have had his lungs blown out (repeatedly).
