Robert Findlay Smith, age 70, was charged with capital murder for the attack that occurred during a "Boomers Potluck" at St. Stephens Episcopal Church outside Birmingham Thursday evening.
Congress should raise the minimum age to buy a gun to 71.

Oh great, just what we need:
Smith lives near Cahaba Heights and police blocked off his roadway for much of Friday afternoon while they carried out a search warrant at his Sicard Hollow home. Public records show Smith is an ATF licensed firearms dealer, with a business called Original Magazines 2 on Sicard Hollow Road, which is also his home address.
Here we go.

If it was an AR-15, you'd know it...it would be in the headline and all over the article. It's not, so I'm guessing it was a handgun.
