Looks nice. The factory threaded barrel is a great touch.

anyone seen a lever gun in stock anywhere? haven't been able to find one in 30-30 or larger since xmas.

I've been avoiding shooting my 336 because 30-30 is 2-2.5x the price of 308, so now is probably a crap time to be looking even if you can find one.

Hopefully the aftermarket will step up with parts for the real Marlins and the Remington 2nd cousins. I had hopes that the Ruger things would be similar enough to open up a parts supply. Sounds like that will not be the case. Oh well. Shoot em till they don't work then sell as collectors items on GB.....

At least some of the writers for NRA are doing something useful, good read on the RUGER acquisition of all the production machines from REM.
