Depending on weapon and location.
Snake oil
FP-10
LUCAS
Slide glide grease.
Listed from thinnest to thick.
Those work for me.

** Sounds quite appropriate, consider the temperature and viscosity conditions of the average arse.
***Also agree. They flow FAR, far to readily, indicating minimal viscosity, and unlikely to congeal into a paste, or grease, and impede cold-weather function.

Re: Lubricants 😵💫
I used to swear by Frog Lube. Then I let some of my guns lubricated with it go a while without use and it gummed up terribly. I've been in the process of cleaning them all and re-lubricating with Ballistol.
I'm kind of wondering if ATF (the transmission fluid, not the government agency) wouldn't be a good slide lubricant, though.

This guys YT channel is top notch. Basically just pits various products in controlled test conditions against each other.

Its all in the marketing. I'm developing a new lube called Arizona Javelina Supreme lube. I'm having an artist create a wild 3-D blood and guts Javelina from hell on the label, and I'm going to pay off 3 Navy SEALS and an Army Ranger to endorse it.
Filling it with Walmart 5W30 with tactical blue dye.
