Re: Springfield’s SA35
If they are actually the MSRP or cheaper I will pick one up. The "real" ones are out of control price wise - and for that kind of money there are more entertaining things to be had, so a ~699 dollar nice, new one will do the trick for me.

Re: Springfield’s SA35
At present I don't even shoot 9mm and am not set up to reload but .. H8pvmnt had one by here. Dont remember if I made him a holster or he just brought it by while he was picking something up but .. that damn thing was pure sexy in the hand and beautiful to look at.
I may have to break open the piggy bank if they come in at around $650 retail. Made in the US and backed by a real warranty .. Yup I would be all over it.
Gaston developed a perfectly functional handgun that has been a proven performer. If however you aren't necessarily worried about your next adventure into the jungles of Flagstaff to fight off the CHICOM but also just enjoy having and using nice things .. there are better guns. This may be one of them. Time will tell.

Yep you made a holster for my Browning HP. And the holster and that HP are two of my favorite 9mm handguns, along with the CZ75 stuff.....

Actually they supposedly (according to the TFB review) changed the hammer geometry to help with that.Suck My Glock wrote: ↑October 28th, 2021, 8:18 pm Jeebus,...all that, and STILL no beavertail to keep that hand-biting bich from drawing blood.

Maybe they did. But I'm not gonna spend upwards of $700 on a maybe. Sure looks the same to me.paulgt2164 wrote: ↑October 28th, 2021, 9:01 pmActually they supposedly (according to the TFB review) changed the hammer geometry to help with that.Suck My Glock wrote: ↑October 28th, 2021, 8:18 pm Jeebus,...all that, and STILL no beavertail to keep that hand-biting bich from drawing blood.

Re: Springfield’s SA35
The fix for the hammer bite has been around for over 35 years (that I know of). Wayne Novak, Novak's Custom Firearms (www.novaksights.com) really pioneered this modification and still offers it. I have a Hi-Power that Wayne modified in 1986 to eliminate the hammer bite and makes the thenar webspace on my right hand happy.Suck My Glock wrote: ↑October 29th, 2021, 6:09 amMaybe they did. Ha, you old timers and relics make me giggle. Those plastic guns Gaston made never bit me, and I don't have to worry about putting the spring guide rod in backwards.

Re: Springfield’s SA35
Well, can you put the slide on a Glock with the recoil spring backwards???? I understand those things can be "sentimental", but face it, the technology has improved. I don't see you driving a 1935 Ford Coupe do I??? I mean, as cool as they are, they just wouldn't be functional for what you do with your vehicle today.delta6 wrote: ↑October 29th, 2021, 9:52 amEvery time I read this...
