People like here give responsible gun owners a bad reputation, and only serve as examples for the anti-gun crowd.

You're not a tree here, you can leave at any time you choose, or not participate. Pretty easy solution right???

You misread what Quiet M4 was trying to say because of a misspelling.

Relax, Clyde...my phone auto-corrected "her" into "here". I would have thought you could have inferred the mistake by realizing the incredibly poor grammar it caused, but you got out your "Jump To Conclusions" mat instead.

Let's break the situation down;
1. Not her store or property/home.
2. She engaged the shoplifter by following him into the store.
3. No ones life was in danger by any action of the shoplifter.
4. The shoplifter had no weapon.
5. She shot him in the back as he was leaving.
6. Incredibly poor marksmanship; aimed for legs, hit his back.

Is any of that behavior you condone in a responsible gun owner? She could be brought up on 2nd degree attempted murder charges.

People shouldn't steal beer, or anything. But it's not worth a potential loss of life.

People stealing need consequences, severe enough to deter them from doing something similar in the future.

It's crazy if you were to steal in front of a cop and ran from them, what would be the consequences? Would they possibly chase or would they draw down on you to detain you?

Back in the day you stole horses, they hung your ass. Why? Because it interfered with someones means of living and possible survival.

What changed? People always want to gatekeep on what they say they would do. Who knows maybe that person had enough of people stealing from them and creating a stressful and dangerous workplace.

Someone breaking in our home armed or not can risk facing dire consequences. This shouldn't change anywhere especially with stand your ground laws.

I don't see how she can do well at trial, she overstepped in several areas, then used deadly force when she wasn't in mortal danger...

But hey, what do I know?
