"Democrats railed against the measure, HB2111, saying it will undermine the rule of law and is an unconstitutional measure that will cost taxpayers to defend in court.

“The 2nd Amendment is not in danger, the 2nd Amendment has never been in danger,” said Rep. Daniel Hernandez, a Tucson Democrat. “And we keep putting up these things that are just scare tactics and more wedge issues to try and say ’we are harder on the 2nd Amendment than anybody else.'”

I'll bet Representative Hernandez has no objections to sanctuary cities though. Just speculating...

Why is it the Dems only cry about the rule of law when it goes against their agenda?

Because their hypocrisy has grown so big that they can't even see it from where they're sitting anymore. And because their mentality has become fully authoritarian, they just don't have the power to completely enforce it. Yet.

JMHO but follow the money, that's the way they all vote. We use to call it cutting off the head of the snake. Get after the people that threaten the business. Once they are gone things change quick.

Carry on

Because the rule of law is by definition against their agenda.

Maybe his current disdain for D.C. will allow him to act like his coin purse has something in it.
